How do I make a booking for dining service?
Please follow these simple steps to secure a booking:
1. Select Your Preferences: Under the reservation section, choose your preferred party size and date. You may enter multiple ballots, provided you do not enter multiple times for the same session.
2. Complete Your Entry: Follow the prompts to finalize your lottery submission.
3. Lottery Draw: On the first Monday of each month at 7pm, winners are randomly selected through a lottery. The draw process is shared live on our Instagram, so feel free to tune in and see if your name is picked in real time.
4. Invoice Notification: Immediately after the draw, all selected participants will receive an invoice to complete their reservation.
5. Payment Deadline: Upon receiving the invoice, winners have one week to complete payment and finalize their booking. Failure to make payment by the due date will result in cancellation. Any cancelled seats will be allocated to the participant who has been waiting the longest.
My ballot has been selected, and I received an email with payment details to complete my reservation. How can I ensure that this is not a scam?
We collect booking fees using our email address as a PayID. Please verify that the email address stated on your invoice matches our email address, which is chae@chae.com.au. We only accept payments through PayID. If you are asked to make payment using any other methods like credit cards, please be cautious as it may be a scam. Additionally, we only send follow-up emails to all winners shortly after the ballot on the first Monday of each month. If you receive an email requesting payment on any other date, it may be a scam.
I didn’t receive any updates after the monthly draw. How can I find out if I was selected?
Due to the high volume of entries, we will only be contacting the winners to finalize their bookings. If you do not hear from us after the monthly lottery draw, it means your entry was not selected this time.
Can you let me know if anyone cancels?
We do not provide a waiting list for cancellations. In the event of a cancellation, we prioritize individuals who have been waiting the longest for that specific date.
Can you make an exception and accommodate a booking for my special occasion?
In order to ensure fairness and equal opportunities, we only accept reservations through the monthly random lottery system and do not accept any reservations outside of it.
Can you cater for dietary requests?
Due to the nature of our food business, we may not be able to guarantee the exclusion of certain food allergens due to shared equipment and surfaces. As a result, we regret to inform you that we are unable to accommodate dietary requests involving anaphylactic reactions. However, for all other dietary restrictions or preferences, please feel free to inform us after your ballot has been selected. We will do our best to accommodate your needs within our capabilities. Do you offer gift vouchers?
Unfortunately, we do not offer gift vouchers.
Can I bring children?
To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, please understand that we are unable to accept children under 12 and we do not offer a children's menu.
